ACE Ceramics- Open Studio Mondays with Heather Johnson
January 13 -March 3, 2025, Mondays from 6-9pm
This course will focus on building mastery and confidence while expanding on foundational wheel-throwing skills for beginning students. Students will learn new skills for throwing, crafting functional handles, carving, trimming, glazing, and more. (All Levels)
The course fee includes your first 25lbs. of clay, glazes and firings, access to Sunday work sessions, and the Saturday evening Meet/Make/Think critique group every third Saturday of the month.

About the instructor:
Heather Johnson is from Little Rock, Arkansas and has been enjoying clay for over ten years. She works out of her home studio in Goodlettsville and has taught youth and adult pottery classes at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. The functionality of clay is what drives her and sharing that joy as she teaches is her passion. “Encouraging Kindergarten teacher” is her vibe and patience is her virtue.
