Clay is a magical material. Join us for some practical clay-magick in March! This 21+ hangout at Buchanan Arts will be from 7:00pm-10:00pm on Saturday March 22nd and offers an opportunity for beginners and advanced makers alike to enjoy a creative and fun evening. We will be screening the 1982 film The Last Unicorn and learning the basics of handbuilding with clay. Attendees will receive approximately 2 pounds of clay and instruction on how to complete a simple project such as a ceramic incense holder, a coil-built votive sculpture and more!* This 21+ event is sponsored by Smith and Lentz brewery + our neighbors at Tio Fun Taqueria and includes two complimentary adult beverages + snacks with your course fee.
Glazing and firing your works is also included in the course fee.
