This exciting new class offers an opportunity for beginners through advanced students of fiber arts. Students will have the opportunity to learn and share new skills with a wide variety of soft materials. Beginning students will learn the basics of knitting, crocheting, embroidery, needle felting, and sewing. Intermediate and advanced students will have the opportunity to refine and share their established skills while experimenting with new techniques. We will host visiting artists to share their work with us - all in the spirit of conversation, dialogue, and community-building! (All Levels)

The course fee includes some materials, shared use of our sewing machines, felting tools, and access to our brand new Saturday evening Meet/Make/Think critique group. Students are welcome to bring their own materials, tools, and works-in-progress.

About your instructor/host:

Karley Davis was born and raised in Clarksville, TN, and graduated from Austin Peay State University with a BFA in Studio Art. She is a multimedia sculptor working in ceramics and fibers, with a specific focus on crochet. In the fall of 2023 her solo exhibition, Sarcodina, opened at the Barbara Beach Gallery in Clarksville, TN. She has also exhibited at the Little Gallery in Memphis, TN.
